I contacted Dr Sharla Lawrence back in august 2020 and asked for my son to have a ASD assessment. She got back in contact very quickly and gave me a date and time which suited us both. Due to the COVID we had a zoom meeting to start with so I could tell Dr Sharla about my sons history and what my concerns were. Dr Sharla was extremely easy to talk to and very friendly and understanding. We then arranged for me to take my son to meet her at her clinic, my son felt very comfortable and happy to be there. We then went for a second time for his assessment, again my son was happy to be there and actually didn’t want to leave! Lastly we had another zoom meeting to discuss her findings. My son was diagnosed with ASD and also has traits of ADHD. Throughout the whole process I was informed what was going to happen and how long things would take. I would recommend Dr Sharla to any parent/carer that is looking for a private diagnosis. She was very professional and helpful even afterwards I’ve been back in contact with her and she’s helped me.
